The Reality Check
Our Return Philosophy
We believe in commitment. When you buy our shoes, you're making a statement about who you are. Returning them suggests you're unsure about your identity, which is your problem, not ours.
That said, we're not completely heartless. Here are the extremely limited circumstances under which we'll consider a return:
What We'll Actually Accept
- Defective products: If your shoes arrived broken, damaged, or clearly defective
- Wrong item sent: If we sent you the wrong color, size, or product entirely
- Sizing issues: If the shoes don't fit according to our size chart (but only if you can prove you measured correctly)
What We Won't Accept
Don't even bother trying to return items for these reasons:
- "I changed my mind" (should have thought about that earlier)
- "My friends said they're ugly" (get better friends)
- "They don't go with my outfit" (that's a you problem)
- "I can't afford them anymore" (financial planning isn't our specialty)
- "My partner said no" (relationship counseling is extra)
- Buyer's remorse in any form
- Items worn outside (even once)
- Items without original packaging
Return Window
You have 14 days from delivery to request a return. Not 15 days. Not "about two weeks." Exactly 14 days.
After that, the shoes are yours forever. Frame them, wear them, or use them as very expensive paperweights.
Return Condition Requirements
For us to even consider your return, items must be:
- Unworn (no signs of wear whatsoever)
- In original packaging with all tags attached
- Free from odors, stains, or damage
- Accompanied by original receipt or order confirmation
- Returned in the condition you'd want to receive them
We inspect every return. If anything looks off, we'll send them back to you.
How to Request a Return
- Email us: fabrevoie@gmail.com with subject "Return Request"
- Include: Order number, reason for return, and photos of the items
- Wait: We'll review your request within 2-3 business days
- Get approval: If approved, we'll send return instructions
- Ship it back: You pay return shipping (obviously)
- Wait more: We'll inspect the return within 5-7 business days
- Get refunded: If everything checks out, refund processed within 10 business days
Return Shipping
You pay for return shipping. We don't provide prepaid labels unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, defective product, etc.).
Use a trackable shipping method. If your return gets lost in transit, that's between you and the shipping company.
Return Address: We'll provide this when your return is approved.
Refund Process
Once we receive and approve your return:
- Refunds are processed to your original payment method
- Allow 5-10 business days for refunds to appear in your account
- Original shipping costs are not refunded (unless it was our error)
- International customers are responsible for any customs fees or duties
Exchanges
We don't do exchanges. If you want a different size or color, return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order. Assuming we still have stock, which we probably don't.
Final Sale Items
Some items are marked as "Final Sale" - these cannot be returned under any circumstances. Not even if your house burns down. Choose wisely.
International Returns
International customers can return items following the same policy, but:
- You're responsible for all return shipping costs
- You're responsible for any customs fees or duties
- Returns may take longer to process due to customs
- Currency exchange rate differences are not our problem
